Charlotte, North Carolina Became the Starting Point for Much Success!

It all started in the 4th grade in Washington D.C. 

Drawn to coming up with ideas and getting in trouble for sketching on the back of classroom worksheets during and after instructions.

I didn't see anything wrong with it as long as I was doing my classwork and when I finished my assignments early...

"Art can make you feel free in a place surrounded by walls and doors." Meaning: While you're inside your home or creative space, you can feel like it's just you and the art itself when you're in the flow and going through the motion.

Art can also be an escape to block out the noise surrounding you (the he say, she say), or it can be the light you always can turn on when you want to set the tone.

Either way I believe good talent and skill should be recognized. 

4th, 5th and Middle School teachers what can you say now?

Rest assured it's been a long journey since then learning from teachers, finding coaches and mentors.

Remember to get your ideas & creations drawn out on paper as soon as they come to you. Draw up all the scenarios and paint your vision, even if you're told to "stop that."
